Description

Isledon Arts CIC manages Lift and Rose Bowl youth hubs in Islington together with Summerversity, the borough’s holiday programme. We also manage emotional wellbeing and social prescribing services in partnership with Isledon Council and the NHS.

Lift is a healthy living youth hub near Angel, complete with gym, dance studio, outdoor kitchen and numerous multi-use rooms. Rose Bowl is a community centre in St Paul’s Park. Lift Kitchen provides catering services, both in-house and at local events.

The Emotional Wellbeing Team supports young people who need professional social and emotional support during challenging times in their lives. Emotional Wellbeing Workers aim to give support through creative, social and sporting activities in the community for young people aged 8 – 18 years. Referrals to the service go through the Social Emotional and Mental Health Pathway: https://www.islington.gov.uk/children-and-families/young-people/mental-health-support-for-young-people

The Social Prescribing Team works with young people aged 11 – 25 years. Referrals can be made by one of our partner organisations or though self-referral. The Social Prescribing Team helps young people who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed or low.

The Wellbeing and Social Prescribing Team run a relaxed weekly wellbeing drop-in session at Lift, where young people can enjoy arts, crafts, conversation and music.
