What is it?

YoungMinds is a youth mental health charity. Their website offers information about mental health difficulties and medications, a support guide, and advice on topics such as getting urgent help.

YoungMinds’ mission statement is “We’re the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health. We want to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health, and all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.”

YoungMinds can help young people and parents or carers find the help and advice they need, including guides, advice, testimonials, and signposting to additional support. Their guides cover topics such as coping with life, supporting a friend, medications, and your guide to support.

For young people, you can access help through YoungMinds by clicking here: https://www.youngminds.org.uk/young-person/find-help/

For parents or carers, there is a helpline and webchat which can be accessed by clicking here: https://www.youngminds.org.uk/parent/parents-helpline-and-webchat/
