Special Guardianship North London

We are the North London Consortium (NLC) - a group of six local authority agencies: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington, who work together to help and support children and families. This website is dedicated to those who have a Special Guardianship Order (SGO), or are thinking about becoming a family with a Special Guardianship Order.  

Our Special Guardians website will give you lots of information about being a special guardian. There are newsletters with articles from the north London area and you can find information on the support that is available for you and your child.If you are already a Special Guardianship family, now is a great time to find out more about the training on offer from your local authority, Kinship Connected, PAC-UK and other support organisations.
